Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo unveils magical new Christmas experience – Santa’s Movigloo – at The Art Deco Theatre, Ballymote

This December, you and your family can enjoy a brand-new, immersive Christmas experience bringing wonder, laughter, and music to The Art Deco Theatre in Ballymote. The production marks Hawk’s Well’s debut at the newly acquired venue and promises 22 unforgettable performances between 10-21 December 2025.

Forget long drives, queues in the rain, and winter stress, this is Christmas made easy and enchanting. Families can step inside a world of glowing lights, warm welcomes, and pure festive joy where every moment becomes a cherished memory.
Inside Santa’s Movigloo, the magic unfolds – meet Santa in his sparkling igloo, enjoy festive tunes from the mischievous Movigloo band Elf and Safety, and relax with a Christmas movie while the elves keep the fun flowing. Expect music, mischief, and a little bit of North Pole sparkle right in the heart of Ballymote.

It’s everything in one ticket – Santa, film, music, gift and photo. Tickets are €20 or €70 for a family of four (plus booking fee). Hawk’s Well wanted to make the gift-giving experience even more special. Along with the traditional treat from Santa, each child will receive the ‘Gift of Creativity’. In partnership with Music Generation, Hawk’s Well can offer each child a one-hour ‘Introduction to Music’ drop-in session in 2026, giving children a chance to explore music in a fun and welcoming environment.
