Curraghchase Forest Park

Curraghchase is a forest park that is upkept by Coillte. Admission is €5. Some people park up and walk but be warned it's a good 3km walk. Once at the park there is a little playground and a picnic area. You can bring disposable BBQs. There are no bins anywhere in the forest so you must bring rubbish home. There are public toilets near the playground. There are a number of different walks that you can explore. Nearby there is a caravan park and they have a little cafe and playground as well. Well worth a trip. There is a yearly card you can get for €40 if you visit a lot.
