Strandhill Beach

Location: Strandhill Beach, Strandhill, Co. Sligo, Ireland

Strandhill Beach is a gorgeous beach in Co. Sligo. It's not so far from Sligo town (5 miles west of Sligo town). The beach is popular for surfing and watersports, but not a suitable place for swimming due to the dangerous currents and tides. It has plenty of free available parking and there are cafes and restaurants around. You can spend some quality time here even if you only want to take a walk along the strand and a little paddle. Sligo airport is located near the beach (Around 2km).
