1. Introduction 

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in The Family Edit Awards 2026. By entering the Awards, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements. 

2. Eligibility 

The Awards are open to family friendly businesses operating within Ireland. Employees of The Family Edit and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. 

3. Nomination Period 

The Nomination period for the Awards begins at 8pm on 8th February, 2026, and ends at 1pm on 18th February, 2026. Nominations submitted before or after the entry period will not be considered. 

4. How to Enter 

To enter the Awards, businesses can be nominated in their respective Categories. Nominations are open to one nomination per business per email address. This one nomination can include a number of Categories. Nominations can be made to numerous businesses using the one email address. There is no entry fee. 

5. Categories 

Entries can be submitted in multiple categories as specified on The Family Edit website. Families / Businesses must select the appropriate category(ies) for their entry at the time of submission. 

6. Judging and Criteria 

Entries will be judged by quantity. The 4 Businesses with the highest number of Nominations in each Category will be the Finalists. The decision of The Family Edit Team is final and binding. Should a business not wish to be a Finalist, they must inform The Family Edit Team by email hello@thefamilyedit.ie 

7. Voting Period 

Voting will open for the Top 4 Businesses, in each of the 11 Categories, at 8pm on 25th February, 2026 and ends at 8pm on 8th March 2026. Votes submitted before or after the voting period will not be counted. 

8. Prizes 

Winners in each category will receive a certificate that will be posted to them and a digital badge for use on their website and marketing materials. A winner from the people who nominated and voted will be chosen at random to win a €250 One4All voucher. They will be contacted via the email address they used for their nomination or vote. 

9. Winner Notification

Business Winners will be notified via email on 15th March, 2026. Nomination / Vote Winners will be notified via email on 16th March 2026. 

10. Rights Granted by Entrants 

By entering the Awards, you grant The Family Edit and its affiliates a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display materials in any media for promotional purposes related to the Awards. 

11. Liability and Release 

The Family Edit is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any equipment or programming associated with the Awards. Entrants agree to release and hold harmless The Family Edit and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the Awards. 

12. Privacy 

Information collected from entrants is subject to The Family Edit’s Privacy Policy. 

13. Amendments 

The Family Edit reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. 

14. Governing Law 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
