🎄WREATH WEAVE🎄
One of our family favourite Christmas traditions, foraging up the mountains for our wreath greens.
What do you need:
wire hangers ( 2 per wreath), pliers, string , all the green from foraging/tree sellers, ribbons, cinnamon sticks, broken decorations, cones and last year’s wreaths bits and pieces. .
@thecraftydad.ie twists the hanger – so maybe google how to for this! Then just add all your bits securing with string.
We make a few for family and friends, we love giving homemade presents.
The children love making these, especially adding the decorations
For extra greens I call into Christmas tree sellers and ask them for their leftover cuttings.
🎄BAUBLE BOX🎄
Each of my children have their own collection of decorations with their name and the year written on it.
Pre children a lovely past colleague told me the way her Mum gave her a Christmas box for her 18th birthday of all the decorations she gave her since her first Christmas, her Mum passed away in her 40s and she was 20 so the box is so special, I was so touched I started it on my first daughter’s Christmas.
So when older they will all have their own box for their own tree 🤗
