For those who are looking for ideas for older kids during the holidays and with some wet weather on the horizon, these egg carton bunnies are a nice activity using what you have at home.
A pencil / marker, egg carton, scissors, paper / card and glue is all that’s needed.
Cut out one egg holder as the bunny’s head, use part of the cover to make the ears.
Glue on to paper or card (card, if you have it, would be sturdier.) You could also use the inside of a cereal box.
Let their imaginations take over then and use their pencil / maker to create the body and background.
A really great activity that can be done numerous times, gives them independence and creative freedom and doesn’t need many resources.
