Roisín’s Dublin Favourites include:
Killiney Hill – Killiney Hill is such a beautiful open space, right in Dublin City. The kids love running through the forest and the gorgeous tall trees. Great for the kids to run around, and fabulous for adults too to take in all the stunning views.
Dalkey Village is just down the road, so after you’ve had a lovely long walk, you can grab a coffee at Mugs.
Sandycove / The Forty Foot – This is a beautiful spot for a sea swim. It’s very close to Killiney Hill so could make a full day of it. The water is suitable for kids as well – they might just want wetsuits! Top tip for sea swimming for both kids and adults alike, don’t think about to too much and just launch yourself in!
Kerb in Foxrock – Kerb in Foxrock has the best coconut shrimp wrap you will ever eat! When you travel across the city to get it for lunch, that’s a great sign!! And even better when the kids pick it as their food choice! [*Pictured here is another popular choice the buttermilk chicken kebab!]
