Wicklow is a County that is known for being very family friendly and has a wonderful variety of things to do there.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
- Glenroe Farm – a great day out and the best thing is they have a covered playground so it doesn’t matter if it’s raining there’s still lots of fun to be had!
- Clara Lara Fun Park
- Powerscourt Estate and Waterfall – Voted 3rd Best Gardens in the World by National Geographic. Waterfall, lopped trails and playground! Bug Buffet kiosk open daily for drinks and snacks.
- Glendalough – Lots of options. Green Road Walk. Spinc Route. Lower Lake Boardwalk is a loop of approx 3.5km and brings you into Monastic City. So much space for kids to play around the upper lake and lots of picnic benches
- Killruddery – Gardens and Farm. Also Restaurants, Shop, Garden Centre and the ‘Great House’ itself.
- Squirrel’s Scamble Ziplines – Tree Adventure Park based in Killruddery
- Blessington Lakes
- Kilmacurragh National Botanic Gardens of Ireland – beautiful place to walk around and lovely picnic spot, there is also a lovely cafe
- River Walk in Wicklow Town
- The Avon – Blessington Lakeshore. Activities: kayaking, SUP, Archery, Climbing, Sailing and more! Cafe, Food Court and Live Music.
- Russborough House and Park
- Belmont Demesne – nice mountain walk and trails, biking too and great pizzas here.
- Wicklow Equi Tours, Glenealy – all levels catered for
- Roundwood Reservoir – great family walk
- Greenan Maze – Family Farm, 2 mazes, wild nature walks, farm animals and coffee shop
- Mount Usher Gardens
- Visit Sammy the Seal on South Quay in Wicklow Town! He loves the attention!

- Glenmacnass Waterfall

- Wicklow Lighthouse – great place for a family day out, can have a little picnic out there. It is a good bit of a walk to get there, but definitely worth a visit.
