Needless to say, we’re not going to say anything about the storyline when it comes to Harry Potter!!
But what we will say is, if you haven’t come across the illustrated versions before, it is well worth taking a look. The illustrations by Jim Kay are absolutely stunning .. the attention to detail and the level of detail is exquisite. It really is a very special book.
As a lover of children’s books, it was always going to be an exciting day when we would start Harry Potter. We have the originals but introducing them to our five year old was made extra special with this illustrated version. It makes a wonderful gift for someone as the quality of the entire publication is beautiful… hard back, illustrated sleeve and red placement ribbon … such a beautiful read .. makes it a full experience.
It’s an absolute pleasure to cuddle up and read from this beautiful book .. and when the story is this magical, this captivating and transporting .. well, it doesn’t get any better.
