Monthly Favourites – April

We’re starting a new series of posts on here where we’ll be

We’re starting a new series of posts on here where we’ll be sharing some of our favourites from the month – things we’ve been loving and using a lot. I’ll be posting mine at the start (ish!!) of the month and M will be posting at the end of the month (or so he has promised me!!)

Last month was a busy one for us … started with Small Man’s 2nd birthday and Baby Girl’s christening. I used my Instax Mini 9 instant camera to capture moments from the day and the pictures are amazing!! The kids loved to see them slowly develop and there’s something so lovely about the moments they capture. The small size of the picture is great for scrap books or displaying a few pinned together in a frame.

This candle by Celtic Candles has been lit most days in our house. It is made from organic natural ingredients so it has none of the nasties that a lot of fragrance companies use. With a small baby in the house I was very conscious of this, but still love candles so this one was the perfect solution. They have newer packaging since this one in the picture (got it as a present for my mom) and I love it even more.

With 3 smallies I don’t get a lot of time to myself so I like to include things in my day that are quick but are just for me! One of those things is my Dr. Hauschka Rose Body Cream – makes my skin feel so soft, beautiful, natural smell and it feels like a little bit of luxury at the start of my day!

Lastly, First Born got a lot of wear out of this dress this month. It’s from a small company called ‘More than a Fling’ and I love it because it’s 95% GOTS certified organic cotton, washes really well and how perfect for an Irish girl’s summer dress to have umbrellas on it!!!
