In the lead up to our #outdoorfunproject with @thecraftymum.ie , we thought it would be fun to show some activities that can be done outside, with very little effort needed and not much space!
All you need for this is an empty egg carton, your garden or local park / woods .. and let the kids off!! They can pick all the nature bits and pieces (preferably from the ground!) and they become their treasures! It’s fascinating to listen to them as their imaginations take off and regular nature pieces become all sorts of jewels and treasures!
An easy activity like this is also great for extended play .. can become part of the ingredients needed in your mud kitchen, can be sold in your shop, can be used to make potions and perfumes .. endless opportunities!!
