It’s the time of year when us families start to think of sunshine and outdoor play and fun. And with that comes the thoughts of Play Sets and Play Houses. It’s an area we’ve done lots of research on, and will be spending lots of time on this weekend!
There are lots of Play Set and Play House options to choose from and your decision will definitely be influenced by the age of your kids, the type of play you want to encourage, your budget, the space in your garden.. and that’s to name just a few!

Ease Education who stock the fabulous range from @plumplayuk From Treehouses to climbing frames and lots more options, they really encourage kids’ imagination and outdoor play. The image here is the Discovery Treehouse that we bought and we’re planning to build this weekend!!
Hennessy Timber Group have an outdoor display area in Clonakilty, West Cork where you can see some of the huge range of outdoor play sets and play houses.
Geppetto Land are a very popular choice in County Laois. They manufacture all kinds of play items including playhouses, playcentres and activity centres.
Climbing Frames Ireland is based in Co. Dublin and they are well known for their wooden climbing frames with swings, slides, monkey bars and playhouses.
STT Swings in Co. Carlow pride themselves on being one of Ireland’s leading manufacturers in children’s playcentres and play equipment… and families seem to agree judging by recommendations!
We will keep you updated on our building escapades over the weekend! While some companies offering building services, we figured we’d try it ourselves because we needed to do a few jobs in the garden before we decided where we would build it. Fingers crossed for us!!
