CHRISTMAS BOOKS
with @deehollhan
As a Behaviour Specialist supporting parents I regularly recommend books to help teach, support transition and milestones and especially preparing for change! Outside of work I’m raising two little book lovers and today I’m sharing five of our favourites.
~Two board books for the toddlers. We love the Usborne collection, so went with them for a simple version age appropriate version of the “Nativity” .
Next up is Spot, we are huge Spot fans! “Spots first Christmas” board book does not disappoint its interactive and is a great first book for baby. Both interactive to help nurture that love of books from a young age.
~Two books full of Humour, the kind of humour that younger children love all that wee, poo and bottom talk 😂
“Father Christmas Needs a Wee” is a lovely tale of all the drinking Santa does at every stop written in a lovely rhymeing rythm and then he has to hold it for the rest of his deliveries!
“Nuddy Neds Christmas” is a fun tale about a little boy who likes to do his own thing!
~Lastly is the fabulous Irish character Pigin of Howth. “Happy Christmas Pigin” is another instalment from kathleen Watkins. She writes beautifully and its always full of Irish references, magic and culture!
Hope you enjoy them and Merry Christmas!
