'European Wool Experience' is a free, family friendly event that showcases over 35 demonstrations, crafts and exhibitions at Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee, on Saturday 28th March 2026.
Tralee will be spinning with colour, creativity and hands-on activities at the start of the Easter holidays as the 'European Wool Experience' a major free craft and wool event for children and adults.
This vibrant free fringe event celebrates Ireland's hosting of 'European Wool Day 2026 Conference' and the public is invited to experience a full day of demonstrations, exhibitions and interactive activities, all completely free.
Visitors can explore four rooms filled with over 35 exhibitors from Ireland and across Europe showcasing wool projects to see, learn and take part in.
Interactive experiences throughout the day include Finger Knitting & Lucet Braiding, Crios Belt Weaving, Spinning, Weaving, Wool processing, therapeutic knitting and lots more.
Meet wool demonstrators and exhibitors from Ireland and across Europe including Serbia, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Romania, Portugal, England, Spain and Hungary.

Exhibitions include:

Beautiful exhibitions of work by Feltmakers Ireland and also by the Irish Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers (supported by Design & Crafts Council, Ireland)

Drop in for an hour or stay and explore at your own pace.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
