Family life is different for everyone.
Family life means different things to different people.
Some people want to find and carve the pumpkins and be scared by witches and goblins .. and that’s their choice.
Some people don’t want to have anything to do with that, they want to fast forward to Christmas.. and that’s their choice.
Some people want to spend their time walking in the forest and watching cozy movies .. and that’s their choice.
Some people want to carve turnips and bob for apples .. and that’s their choice.
Some people want to do a mix of all the above on various different days .. and that’s their choice.
Basically, how we all spend our time at various stages of the year is our own choice.
How we all spend our own time with our family is our own choice.
As long as you are happy with your choices, that’s all that matters.
No need for pressure to do more or to do less .. you do you, you and your family .. your choices.
