Annestown Beach in Co Waterford was awarded Green Coast Award in 2019. This beach is a famous spot for bathing, surfing, and swimming. It has seclusion which makes this beach a great spot for families and tourists to spend some quality quiet time. There is car parking (Annestown Strand car parking) near the beach. The beach is rocky, so not a great spot for running, but it offers some amazing views & would be an awesome place for a picnic.
