Barna Woods, Barna

Location: Barna Woods, an enchanting forest located just off the main road to Barna, Galway

Parking: Only a handful at the entrance but there is plenty in Rusheen City Park across the road. The woods can also be accessed through Cappagh Park where there is plenty of parking.

Path: Forest trail, mucky when wet

Facilities: None

Features: Access to Cappagh Park

Any forest in autumn is a sight to behold but Barna Woods is a very special spot indeed.  The path was quite slippy and mucky due to the rain so a sturdy buggy is required. You can read more details  here.
