Courtown Beach

Location: Courtown Beach, Courtown, Co. Wexford

Located 6km southeast of Gorey, Courtown beach is a lovely sandy small beach in Co. Wexford. In 2018 it was an International Blue Flag beach award winner. The northern end of the beach is popular for swimming and water sport activities (the southern section is not suitable for them). The beach has beautiful wooded areas, ideal for picnics and walks. In the summer months, lifeguards perform duty (more information is shown on the information board on the beach).

Alongside the beach, there is plenty of holiday accommodation with facilities like golf and bowling. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs for visitors. Roadside parking is available near the beach.
