Description
Location: Hill of Uisneach, Loughnavalley (located between Mullingar and Athlone on the R390), Westmeath
Path: NOT BUGGY FRIENDLY – Free guided tours (see website link above for more details) (hiking boots recommended)
Parking: Inside the gates
Facilities: Interpretive Centre – tea and coffee available here after the tour, toilets
Features: Figure of 8 Ringfort, Lough Lú, St Patrick’s bed’ Cat Stone, collapsed passage grave
