Description
Situated in the beautiful East Cork countryside, around 4km from the village of Dungourney, is Leahy's Open Farm, a fun farm and museum that shows all aspects of rural life. Leahy's Open Farm, located just 4km from the County Cork village of Dungourney is a well known visitor attraction that is suitable for all the family.
There is a wide range of animals ready to meet kids and adults alike, including alpacas, donkeys, rabbits and a snake, as well as the more traditional sheep, goats and horses. There is even petting time where you will get the chance to meet and feed some of the animals
Leahy's also boasts a digger park! Where kids (and big kids) can try their hand at operating a real digger!
The Leahy's also make their own ice cream and chocolate in their onsite factory, where you can visit, grab a sweet treat and get a sneak peak into the kitchen. Looking for something more substantial to eat? Head to the coffee shop, which offers a great selection of home baked goods and delicious meals.
Later this year, they plan to open their family friendly glamping pods!
