Mooghaun Hill Fort

Location: In the village of Mooghaun South, 3km north of the village Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare

Path: Forest trail and gravel path, hilly/steep in parts – buggy-friendly (recommend sturdy buggy)

Parking: Car park (off road and free)

Facilities: Some seating benches dotted along the path – no toilets on site

Features: Historical Site, Fort, information points, forest,  and within 5 minutes drive of Dromoland Castle
