I'd love to join you and your baby on your morning walk in your local park (South Dublin, 1 hour). You set the pace, both of the walk and of our chat. What we discuss will be completely confidential, and will be met with compassion and without judgement, just like in a therapy session. Based on my own experience of my transition into motherhood, and my psychotherapy training, I can offer you practical tips and strategies to help you if you wish.
I'll encourage you to trust that you are the mother your baby needs, and your efforts are more than good enough. Motherhood feels hard sometimes because it is hard, not because there is anything wrong with you.
I will guide you to notice your self-talk, manage your expectations of yourself, and generally be kinder to yourself and recognise the amazing job you’re doing.
You’ll also reap the benefits of fresh air, movement, being in nature, hopefully some Vitamin D, and caffeine (if you wish).
