Ross Beach

Ross beach is a blue flag award winner lovely sandy beach near Killala. It is a fantastic beach to go for a walk, have a swim, or just enjoy the relaxing view of the sea. Near the car park, there is a swimming area which is manned by lifeguards during the summer season. It is not safe to swim outside of this area due to the presence of strong currents. Children will enjoy playing in the sand here, paddling in the swimming area, and exploring the rock pools. There is holiday accommodation above the beach which used to be a lifeguard station. Toilets and picnic tables are available at the car park.
