Location: Finvarra near New Quay, Co. Clare
Parking: Unmarked, along the seafront on the approach
Path: A half mile tarmac path a few small inclines – suitable for all wheel types. The coastal walk is linear but a looped walk is also an option (see map on site)
Facilities: None
Features: This area is a Geosite. Breathtaking views across Galway Bay. It’s beauty and wilderness inspired our very own Séamus Heaney who’s poem ‘Postcript’ details a visit he made there.
A magical find in the banner county with a tarmac path along the coast making it very accessible indeed.
