Wild Atlantic Glamping

Wild Atlantic Glamping is located at the East end of Bere Island, just a mile from Rerrin Village. A stay at Wild Atlantic Glamping is all about making memories – exploring rock pools, jumping off the pier, eating freshly caught fish, toasting marshmallows over the campfire, discovering hidden coves on a kayak and enjoying the freedom of being on an island. You will go to sleep listening to the sounds of the sea and in the morning zip open your tent to watch the sunrise over Bantry Bay. Wild Atlantic Glamping is a place where you can disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and immerse yourself in nature.

There are 10 luxury canvas bell tents, each named after a hidden gem on the island. Each tent has its own private terrace with chairs so that you can relax and enjoy the sea views. Electricity, cool box, fresh linen and towels are provided to each tent.

Our purpose built complex has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable and is just 50m from the glamping area. Every element is designed with campers’ comfort in mind (and, as this is Ireland, all weather conditions!), from the cosy beds in the tents to the generous communal areas. There is a large, warm, bright room available to guests as a dining room or can be used for workshops, retreats, training, private parties, family get-togethers and events. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen, a bathroom and shower block, and outside there is a large covered terrace with picnic tables, a communal firepit and BBQ area. The site has direct access to the sea, perfect for swimming, diving, kayaking and sailing.
