Red Strand, Ardfield, West Cork
A very popular beach with families due to the safe water, this is the ideal beach to spend the day at. Parking is right beside the beach, it doesn't tend to get as packed as other more well-known beaches nearby, and there are some great spots for kids to climb the dunes and jump from little, low rocks into the water.
When the tide is out, there are places to explore and climb.
A firm family favourite only minutes outside of Clonakilty Town.
