Valentine’s Crafts are some of our favourites to do because we get the chance to show love for ourselves and for our loved ones.
We also love Activities that don’t need too many resources, don’t take too much time and use what you have in the house. These Newspaper Hearts are just that!
All you need is:
- newspaper
- paint
- scissors
- heart template made from cardboard [optional as you can cut the hearts freehand]
And then it really is as simple as it looks! Paint the newspaper in any colour, pattern or design. Cut out hearts or else make a cardboard heart template [you can use a cereal box] if you would like them a uniform size.
Let their imaginations take over then for how you will use your Valentine’s Hearts …. stick to the wall, use for the front of a card, make Valentine’s bunting, write notes on the back and leave secret love notes for family … endless ideas.
And all for the price of a newspaper!
