The Southside of the beach frames the Raven Wood nature reserve, in the north lies popular Cahore Beach. A huge beach and its surrounding area are very clean. This beach was used to film the scenes of the D-Day landing of the 1997 film, Saving Private Ryan, so some part of the beach might look familiar to you!
