Description
Location: Merlin Woods are located on the eastern side of Galway City at the back of Merlin Hospital.
Parking: We struggled with this one but were advised by locals to park at the entrance at the back of the hospital. There was only room for two vehicles here.
Path: Forest trail and gravel path, a variety of loops; ideal for buggies and bikes
Facilities: Huge (very impressive) playground
Features: Merlin Castle, woodland
