The Cottage Tearooms Loughmore

The Cottage Loughmore serves fresh local foods and produce. It is managed and was set up by the local community with all profits being reinvested back into the community. It is housed in one of the oldest buildings in the village with its half door always open to greet you. A visit is like stepping back in time. It has won many awards including the Irish Times Best Tearooms in Ireland and the  Tipperary Chamber Award for Hospitality and Tourism.               

Loughmore is a small village nestled on the banks of the River Suir in North Tipperary and is steeped in history. It has a 13th Century Castle, A Mill built in 1842, a picnic area and duck sanctuary, with a historic burial chambers in its Church Grounds. All these attractions are within walking distance of The Cottage.
