Anyone who knows the Hidden World series of lift-the-flap books will know what a special book this is.

It is a stunning way of discovering more about woodland life.

And it is a wonder for all the senses .. the book is beautiful to touch with a gorgeous hardback cover and fabulous thick pages which are great for little hands to turn and lift the flap.

The illustrations are so beautiful to look at, and help to bring the different sections of plants, animals, pondlife, insects, habitats and baby animals to life… so much so you can almost hear the animals and taste the berries. It’s honestly that good!

And it’s one of those glorious books that the children can access the information so easily, yet you as an adult learn something too!!

This would be a stunning gift for someone. It was part of our boy’s birthday present recently and he loves it .. as does our three year old and six year old!

We bought our copy from the wonderful Tales for Tadpoles in Dublin and we highly recommend it!

Any other fans of the Hidden World series ?!
